- Faux Leather
- I used this Purple Watercolor Dots print for the bunny body and this white solid faux leather for the tail. For the print, I ordered a 9×12 sheet, Regular Scale, Portrait Orientation.
- You can use heat transfer vinyl for the tail instead of faux leather, too! If I had used heat transfer vinyl, I would have used Siser White Glitter HTV.

- Fabric Glue like Beacon Fabri-Tac
- Earring Hooks in Silver or Gold finish
- 6mm Jump Rings in Silver or Gold finish
- Jewelry Pliers – Chain Nose and/or Flat Nose

Step 3: Make the Project
Set Up Your Design
- Open a new canvas in Cricut Design Space.
- Upload the SVG file for the Bunny Tail Eairrngs to your canvas.
- You can cut the tail from faux leather or heat transfer vinyl.
Prepare to Cut
- Click Make It.
- Mirror your mat(s), since you’ll be cutting the faux leather face down.
- Choose the Faux Leather (Paper Thin) setting with More pressure for the bunny mat and the tail.
Cut the Faux Leather
- Place the faux leather pretty side down on a Strong Grip (purple) mat.
- Secure all edges with blue painter’s tape.
- Load the mat into your Cricut.
- Press the C button to begin cutting.
- When the cut is complete, without unloading the mat, use a sharp tool to gently lift the edge and check the cut.
- Repeat the cut if necessary by pressing the cut button again.
- Once the cut is complete, unload the mat and remove the shapes.
Attach the Tail
- If you cut the tail from faux leather, use fabric glue to attach the tail to the bunny body. Place the glued earrings under a heavy book to dry for about 30 minutes.
- If you cut the tail from heat transfer vinyl, press the tail onto the bunny body using an EasyPress Mini on Low or a regular heat press set to 265 degrees.
Assemble the Earrings
- Use flat nose pliers to turn the bottom loop on the earring hooks 90 degrees so the earrings will hang straight.
- Then attach earring hooks to the jump ring and close the jump rings securely.
