- Faux Leather

- For all prints I ordered 9×12 sheets, Regular Print, Portrait Orientation.
- Other Project Supplies
- Craft or fabric glue like Bearly Art Glue (recommended for this project for the precision tip nozzle) or Beacon Fabri-Tac
- Jewelry Making Pliers (Baby Wubbers Chain Nose and Baby Wubbers Flat Nose are my favorites)
- 10mm Jump Rings
- Bulk Chain like this one (textured) or this set of 4 spools in different metal finishes
- Toggle Clasps

Step 3: Make the Project
Set Up Your Design
- Open a new canvas in Cricut Design Space.
- Upload the SVG file for the Clover Charm Bracelet to your canvas.
- Recolor all of the shapes to be the same color if you want to cut them on the same mat (optional). I prefer leaving them colored differently to make it easier to cut the charms from different pieces of faux leather.
Prepare to Cut
- Click Make It.
- Mirror your mat(s), since you’ll be cutting the faux leather face down.
- Position your faux leather shapes apart on the mat if cutting from different prints.
- Choose the Faux Leather (Paper Thin) setting with More pressure.
Cut the Faux Leather
- Place the faux leather pretty side down on a Strong Grip (purple) mat.
- Secure all edges with blue painter’s tape.
- Load the mat into your Cricut.
- Press the C button to begin cutting.
- When the cut is complete, without unloading the mat, use a sharp tool to gently lift the edge and check the cut.
- Repeat the cut if necessary by pressing the cut button again.
- Once the cut is complete, unload the mat and remove the shapes. Repeat cutting more charms as desired.
Assemble the Charms
- Use fabric or craft glue to glue the front and back charm shapes together.
- Place the glued charms underneath a heavy book for about an hour so they dry flat.
Assemble the Bracelet
- Use a bracelet blank, or create your own using a cut piece of bulk chain and add a clasp.
- Use jewelry making pliers and 10mm jump rings to connect the faux leather charms to the bracelet links. I added charms to the links and skipped a link in the chain as I went.
- Fill in the empty links if desired with additional metal charms (optional).
Your Clover Charm Bracelet is complete! Enjoy your adorable and functional spring craft!

Answers to your questions about making a Clover Charm Bracelet with a Cricut
Q: Which Cricut machines will cut faux leather?
A: You can cut faux leather with any of the current Cricut machines because they all cut faux leather with the standard fine point blade included with each machine. For this project you can use the Cricut Maker, Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Maker 4, Cricut Explore 5, Cricut Explore 4, Cricut Explore 3, Cricut Explore Air 2, the Cricut Joy Xtra or the Cricut Joy.
Q: What glue do I use with faux leather?
A: I generally use Beacon Fabri-Tac for gluing faux leather because it spreads thinly and evenly without clumps and it doesn’t absorb into the faux leather. It also cleans up easily with just a finger wipe or a paper towel. It dries nice and flat for a very smooth finish. However for these small charms, I like using Bearly Art Glue because the bottle has a narrow precision tip that allows you to place glue in very small areas.
Q: How do I get the SVG template for this project?
A: Get the SVG file from my SVG Shop here.
