These cozy faux leather coffee sleeves add instant Christmas cheer to every sip! In this tutorial I’ll be showing you how to make a Faux Leather Gingerbread Clutch Purse with a Cricut.

You’ll mix bold holiday patterns with sparkling HTV to create three fun designs: Merry & Bright, Peppermint Mocha Club, and North Pole Coffee Co. They’re the perfect way to dress up your favorite to-go cup and make your holiday mornings feel a little more magical!

We’ll be using faux leather, heat transfer vinyl, Kam Snaps and rivets. I’ll walk you step by step through making this festive, no sew purse with faux leather and a Cricut.

• Faux leather of your choice. I used these prints from The Polka Dotted Peach: Red Classic Plaid, Pink Candy Cane Stripe, Dark Green Solid.
• Heat Transfer Vinyl
  • I used Siser Easyweed in White.
  • Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl in Red.
  • TeckWrap Craft Foil Iron-On in Gold.
• Other Project Supplies
  • Size 20 Kam Snaps in White and Kam Snap Pliers (also available in this kit with pliers here)
  • Instead of Kam Snaps, you could also use thin Velcro dots like these
  • Teflon Sheet
  • Weeding Tool like a Pin Pen or like the one in the Cricut Basic Tool Set
  • Blue Painters Tape
  • Small Curved Scissors

A: To press heat transfer vinyl onto faux leather you’ll need a traditional heat press, Cricut EasyPress, or Cricut EasyPress Mini. I used a Cricut EasyPress Mini for this project because it’s great with pressing small projects like earrings, keychains, and accessories.
