Faux Leather Week – Charmed By Fall Supply List

This beginner-friendly event will introduce you to Cricut faux leather crafting!
I’ve carefully chosen the projects for this event to keep the number of supplies you need to a minimum.
Please find the supplies needed for the projects below – many are basic Cricut crafting supplies you already have on hand.
We’ve partnered with my favorite faux leather supplier, The Polka Dotted Peach, to make shopping easy! You can purchase a special kit of the faux leathers we’ll be using during Faux Leather Week here.
Of course, you can use any faux leather you have on hand to make these projects, too. I can’t wait to see what you create!
Project 1 – Layered Fall Leaf Purse Charm
Materials You’ll Need:
- Cricut machine of your choice: Cricut Maker 4, Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore 4, Cricut Explore 3, Cricut Explore Air 2, Cricut Joy, or the Cricut Joy Xtra
- Purple “Strong Grip” cutting mat
- Standard Fine Point Blade (This is the blade that comes with all models)
- Blue Painter’s Tape
- Cricut Weeding Tool (I use the one from this basic tool set)
- Faux Leather of your choice. I used this Sedona Embossed faux leather, this fall leaf print, and this Harvest Dots print in Orange. These three are also available in this set here.
- Optional Heat Transfer Vinyl of your choice for the back
- 6mm Rivets with rivet tools (optional – you can also use glue instead, like Beacon Fabri-Tac or another fabric glue)
Project 2 – Pumpkin Spice Latte Lip Balm Holder
Materials You’ll Need:
- Cricut machine of your choice: Cricut Maker 4, Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore 4, Cricut Explore 3, Cricut Explore Air 2, Cricut Joy, or the Cricut Joy Xtra
- Purple “Strong Grip” cutting mat
- Green “Standard Grip” cutting mat
- Standard Fine Point Blade (This is the blade that comes with all models)
- Blue Painter’s Tape
- Cricut EasyPress Mini
- Cricut EasyPress 2, 9×9
- Cricut EasyPress Mat, 8×10 size
- Teflon Sheets (I trim mine down to a smaller size)
- Cricut Weeding Tool (I use the one from this basic tool set)
- Faux Leather of your choice – I used this Fall Pie & Coffee print (also available in this set here)
- Heat Transfer Vinyl – I used Siser Easyweed in Cream
- Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl in White and Copper
- Beacon Fabri-Tac Glue
- Split Ring Keyring – I like 30mm size
- 10mm Jump Rings in Silver
- Faux Suede Tassels
Project #3 – Wristlet with Pumpkin Charm
Materials You’ll Need:
- Cricut machine of your choice: Cricut Maker 4, Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore 4, Cricut Explore 3, Cricut Explore Air 2, Cricut Joy or the Cricut Joy Xtra
- Purple “Strong Grip” cutting mat
- Green “Standard Grip” cutting mat
- Standard Fine Point Blade (This is the blade that comes with all models)
- Blue Painter’s Tape
- Cricut EasyPress Mini
- Cricut EasyPress 2, 9×9
- Cricut EasyPress Mat, 8×10 size
- Teflon Sheets (I trim mine down to a smaller size)
- Cricut Weeding Tool (I use the one from this basic tool set)
- Faux Leather of your choice – I used this Plaid print and this Pumpkin Pie solid (also available in this set here)
- Heat Transfer Vinyl of your choice – I used Siser Easyweed in Cream and Glitter Heat Transfer Vinyl in Brown
- 1-inch Wristlet Hardware in Gold
- Wristlet Pliers optional (sold separately)
- Or you can get a set of 1 inch Wristlet Hardware with Pliers
- 10mm Jump Rings
- Optional charms like these leaf charms
- Optional faux suede tassels – these are shorter than the one in the photo, which are currently unavailable
